I thought I couldn’t make it at the end there. But I skimmed and pushed through. It was awful in every way unimaginable, because I couldn’t have seen that coming, not in a million years.

But that ending was oh so sweet. Controlled chaos is exactly what Verity had in mind, and she more than exceedingly delivered on that mark.

Okay so right out of the gate this book is better than the Dukes. Honestly I do not know if I can forgive them for the Royal Cleansing part. That was brutal to read. If I saw that done to my daughter or friend I would put a bullet in them.

I want Verity to have a little more of a back bone throughout this book. Although her revenge at the end was a dish best served cold. They still need to suffer!

Again we have the head King manipulator who is making everything worse for the Princes and Princess. King Ashby is HORRIBLE.
