Such a good story! The characters are funny, powerful, and inspiring. The blossoming relationships were fun to watch and the character growth throughout was inspirational. This is one will absolutely be recommending.

loved this!! the illustrations were great. i think the topics around not cis people not policing how trans people should react to transphobia is very important. all around had me kicking and screaming from how cute it was. i loved annie&bebe and could read 100+ more pages of them!!

⚠️: transphobia, fatphobia, sexual harassment, body shaming, stalking, deadnaming, dysphoria, bullying

This was the sweetest and most heartfelt graphic novel! I loved Bebe and Annie. I just wanted to hug them both anytime something transphobic or homophobic happened. I also wanted to punch all the transphobic assholes.

I loved that Bebe and Annie got to figure things out together and grow and be themselves. Also, I loved how they were complete opposites! With Bebe being more elegant and Annie being more goth/punk. I also loved that they had a whole team of queer cheerleaders that surrounded them with support and acceptance (after being called out). I really loved Cheer Up! and I would give anything to read more of this story. Cheer Up! is getting five stars from me.

I thought this was such a sweet little graphic novel. It's about a transgender teen who is made cheer captain and a former friend of hers who joins the squad to basically make colleges think she's a people person, or a joiner. They reignite their friendship, plus a little more, while finding themselves and breaking out of their comfort zones. This was just so charming, the art style was very cute, and the girls' love story was very believable.
