loved this!! the illustrations were great. i think the topics around cis people not policing how trans people should react to transphobia is very important. all around had me kicking and screaming from how cute it was. i loved annie&bebe and could read 100+ more pages of them!!

I loved this charming comic. The characters were fun, and I liked the dynamic between Annie and Beebee. The way this book handles the situation where characters treat B special so that they themselves look good for their charity felt powerful as well.
📘The Gist 📘: When Annie's guidance counselor is concerned that her lack of extracurricular activities will hurt her college prospects, her mom pushes her to join the cheer squad. There, Annie gets reacquainted with an old friend who transitioned recently.
📒Representation📒: trans girl mc, wlw, bipoc sc

This is seriously such an amazing graphic novella. As a trans woman, I was nodding my head furiously the entire time, it's so freaking relatable! It has well written characters who grow a tremendous amount through this short read. And it has such a lovely ending too. I stayed up late to finish it, and loved every minute!

Well… this comic really did cheer me up!
Annie has to learn to be less antisocial if she wants to get a scholarship and get into college, so she decides to try and enter the cheerleader team.
Along the way, she’ll meet her former best friend, Beatrice, a transgirl who is trying to make the world understand that being trans is not something she wants to be looked at for.
A cute romance will eventually spark, and Annie and Beatrice will grow together and finally be able to accept themselves and others.
A very emotional and lighthearted comic that offers a good and well-treated representation of lesbianism and transidentity.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
