I never thought I would pick this up but I've heard so much about it from throneofpages that I finally picked it up. I haven't read much manga at all and I wasn't confident I'd enjoy it, but I was immediately hooked! I'm so excited to start this series.

I actually ended up liking this more than I expected. I don't really like the art style and the story is a little sillier than the normal stuff I read, but the story is pretty unique and interesting.

Looking forward to seeing where the series goes!

I was so pleasantly surprised by the first volume of One Piece. I wasn't sure what to expect but as someone who loves pirate stories, I went in with an open mind. Eiichiro Oda does a fantastic job of making you instantly care about the characters through the simple work of giving them an important task or goal that they believe in. I'm excited to see where this story goes next and to get introduced to more of the characters. I can see this quickly becoming a favorite series.

there was the fatphobic fat villainous woman thing but thankfully it didnt take up too many psges lol. i loved it and i love analysing one piece!!! im onto namis chapter now 🤧
