Ok is this basically a Gift of the Magi fanfic? Yes. Did I like it? Yeah. Is it a good book? Not really. Stella is a waitress who as shes closing up for Christmas Eve realizes that she forgot to get her new husband a gift. Her last customer of the day, Helga, owns an antique shop and offers to help her with a trade. No spoilers obviously but this made me appreciate The Gift of the Magi. Is it completely unrealistic? Sure but at least it's christmasy and romantic. This just made me sad for Stella and mad at her husband.
