With a form that deflates any tension before the promised murders, the Club does a fine job of setting up its cast but lets them down, taking too long to reach the thrills and lacking a punch in the ending.

Modern And Then There Were None vibes but didn’t really come together for me. Twists were a bit predictable and felt like it went on a chapter or two too long. I tend not to like books written by two people pretending to be one person for some reason the writing feels flat to me.

I read this one straight through. Probably more like a 3.5. All right, it wasn't Great Literature, but it was a good time.

Oh boy this book did not go the way I thought it would. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!
