I have been waiting for this deck for so long and I am so excited to finally have it!

The art is stunning and I love all the details packed into the cards despite the deceptively simple art style. The theme is myths and fairytales from around the world and it really feels like one of the most diverse and inclusive decks I have seen. The artwork is quite cheerful in tone with rich, vibrant colors. Due to the timelessness and universal appeal of fairytales and myths I could see this deck being appealing to many different querents for years to come.

While I could not find any overtly disturbing imagery, there is very mild nudity in a couple of cards. I would say the deck is not inappropriate for younger readers because of the light, animated style of the art itself.

The deck is comparable to the Light Seer's in size and thickness, though they feel a tiny bit heavier and are much more flexible, making them far easier to riffle shuffle. The cardstock is a nice linen finish, which feels very smooth and non-sticky. While the cards are neither glossy or matte, the visible texture of the linen finish on the cards may be unappealing to some. They remind me of casino playing cards, which feel a lot higher quality than most other mass market decks. Due to the size and weight, readers with smaller hands may have more difficulty shuffling.

The packaging is gorgeous with a sturdy clamshell box decorated with metallic gold accents. The accompanying guidebook is full color and while on the shorter side it includes a decent amount of information. For each card the book includes the name of the farytale/myth, origin, a very brief (2-3 sentences) summary of each story, and upright/reversed keywords.

For any reader with an interest in mythology or fairytales, I would highly recommend this deck. I am blown away by the art and impressed with the overall design and quality of the deck. It is much higher quality than I expect from most mass market decks. I can only hope that other publishers will take note.

Lastly, I have not already but will definitely be purchasing Beneath the Moon which contains the full length stories that were used in the deck.
