So, if I'm following this correctly, Nova is essentially Marvel's Green Lantern, and the novel that they want me to jump in on is in the middle of the infernal Civil War crossover event?

When it was good, it was good. With that said, I will not be running, walking, or even accidentally tripping into the next volume of this one. Just didn't do the trick at all.

Excellent updating of the 1970's cult hero Nova. Abnett and Lanning successfully embrace the Green Lantern aspects of the character while maintaining some of the goofiness of the original. Far superior to the attempted 90s relaunch of the same character.
