Oh, my Heart! Grab some tissues! Protecting her heart was a feel-good romance. Just what I needed at just the right time! Laura is a strong, kind-hearted person. I feel like she was very relatable, I got very emotional for her. She is the Assistant GM for the Indianapolis Eagles, where she meets Mark. Mark was so easy to fall in love with! He was taken with her from the start but Laura was in the middle of a divorce. I loved and swooned that he waited two years for her, kept letting her know his interest. Their friendship was truly heartwarming. This was a low angst read and I loved it because it's not that often I come across one. Laura and Mike slow start but it was an incredibly sweet journey and very down to earth. I also loved that we get bits of the other character! I really love this series and I hope we get more of Mark and Laura. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Have the tissues ready with this one. Out of this whole series this was my favorite one. It was amazingly written with so many different emotional moments . It is a book you won't want to put down . There was a part of this book that I cried I'm not ashamed to admit it. Just a touching story line. I absolutely love Mark and Laura. Laura is dealing with a lot when she first meets Mark so she keeps telling him no. Then she finally decided to give it a go. Doing that changes her life and his. Their chemistry once together is off the charts hot. I absolutely love these two together. Having the story line with Brayden made this book amazing. I absolutely loved this part of the book. So very sweet yet heart wrenching. I do have to say the ending let me a little upset. I'm so hoping we get more from this couple. Highly recommend reading this one.Samantha blew me away with this one. Loved it.

This is Book #4 in the Indianapolis Eagles series. I really hope there is a book to follow. I have so many questions. I love how patient Mark was with Laura. How sweet an caring he was as he waited until she was ready to date after her divorce. Her ex was something else. Love this series and team. I especially love what Laura and the Eagles did. This is my favorite book of the series.

Protecting her Heart is the forth book in the Indianapolis Eagles series and is about Laura and Mark.
Laura is the woman who always believed in happy ever afters, in love at first sight and that love will last forever but unfortunately she has been in a marriage that ended and her fairy dream as well. She remains a strong woman with a big heart but wants to know herself more and to think about starting a new relation especially with Mark whom is trying very hard to catch her eyes and show her that she could have the HEA with him, is not an option for her.
Mark is the new acquisition of the Eagles and wants to find his place in the team and start anew with a beautiful woman that is putting him in the friends zone.He is very patient and after allowing her time to realise that she is attracted to him and wants to know him better, the sparks begin and we can see more of their chemistry.
There is no drama or any twists in their relationship, just two wonderful people, two characters that are very well portrayed by the author, that are getting to know each other and fall in love just like in the fairy tales.

What I liked/Didn’t Like: Laura & Mark’s story was riveting. Laura a divorcee and Mark a hockey player for the team Laura’s father owns. See a potential problem here? Yeah so did I. Even though Laura’s dad is a might protective of his daughter he only wants what's best for her.
A well-written storyline that is sweet at the same time it is riveting and well worth reading. I love how the author ties all the books together and you get to check in with characters from the other books in the series.
