J.L. Hyde has done it again! A small town murder mystery to cozy up and read under a blanket while sipping some hot cocoa and watching the leaves fall. Her books feel like you’re talking to one of your childhood besties who is obsessed with true crime and wants to tell you a good story with all the right details. This one had me hooked just like all her others and left me wanting more (thankfully we get more since it’s the first book of a series!!!) I cannot recommend her books enough if you want a fast paced read with all the right twists and turns. Part of me wants to visit Grady Lake for the scenery but the other part wants to stay far, far away..
