I would give it 5 stars but I thought the ending was a bit of a let down. Overall I think it's a very tense, well written read. It's brilliant from the start all the way up until the last few chapters where I think it lost a bit of steam.
Graphic: Death, Violence, Injury/Injury detail, and Murder
Moderate: Car accident and Kidnapping
Minor: Pedophilia, Suicide, and Vomit

This is so much better than the two previous Whistler books. Lacy is one of his better repeat characters. Good thriller. She’s smart and authoritative with clear boundaries and strong ethics. The bad guy is also smart but the complete opposite in every way. But the informant is possibly the reason why this book is so good.
Graphic: Violence and Murder
Minor: Adult/minor relationship and Pedophilia
