Baal is the man. I love the line "When you're as good as I am? This is humble."

The Valhalla retreat is ... weird. Wodin is all tron-like and I'm not sure I like it.

Still love Luci.

More fleshed out ideas of the crux of the plot, but leaves more questions than answers (as it should). Fun stuff.

I Love Luci

And, yes, I mean that in as many ways as possible. I really enjoyed the scenes between Laura and Luci.

Here's what's bugging me. Lucifer doesn't lie like EVER...He may keep the truth sometimes for his own devils issues but HE DOESN'T LIE!

I feel as if the artwork gradually gets more intense and satisfying from issue to issue. The story line is coming along great, and I'm even more of a fan of Luci now that I've read this issue. Baal needs to calm down, though. He definitely has a Kanye West vibe going on. Makes me roll my eyes so far back into my head I'm afraid they're going to get stuck. Everything he says is just so cringe-y.

In this issue, Laura and the journalist we've met in the previous comics meet up with Baal (he stumbles upon them accusing him of murder, actually) and invites them back to "Valhalla." Laura is the only one allowed in to speak with all of the other gods, where she receives some very devastating news, in which she is furious. Our quirky little fangirl stands up for Lucy in the face of some very terrifying Gods which I applaud her for.

We're all in agreement that Baal is basically Ye' right?
