Everything must come to an end... Oh. My. God. This series. I don't think I've been more excited about a release since the Fourth Debt was published. Im left speechless, as I usually am after Pepper's books. Incredible, beautiful, soul crushing, powerful, intense.. I could go on and on and no words would bring it justice. This story is amazing from start to finish.. Jetho and Nila's connection & the depth at which they understand each other is just beautiful to read and the story is nothing like anything you've ever read!? Chapter after chapter she just keeps shocking you with more... How do I describe how truly incredible this book was without sharing any spoilers? YOU. MUST. READ. THIS. BOOK/SERIES. I can't say this enough! After ripping my heart out book after book the Hawk/Weaver story has finally come to an end and I couldn't have imagined it any better. Every question answered, every truth revealed - couldn't have asked for more. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!!

So it took me forever to read this not because it wasn't amazing, but because I kept putting it off. I read the previous book ages ago, and subconsciously I just didn't want to read it because then it's ended and that's it. I'm most likely going to read the epilogue even though to me, I think it concluded great (minus my much hated declarations of love, and there were quite a few in the last 30 minutes of reading) because then I get a little more, but I don't think it's necessary (at this point in time).

I'm so thankful for so much that happened in this book, but I'm dying inside about Kes, and I loved all the flashbacks of their childhood (Kes & Kite not the others) because they were ADORABLE. The other flashbacks legit hurt my soul. We finally find out EXACTLY what happened to Jaz to make her disabled, and I cried the whole scene. I cried even harder when
SpoilerCut realised what he'd done. Oh my god I really didn't want him to be in any way redeemed but by this book I was 97% blaming Bonnie for EVERYTHING! I understood Cut and Daniel (in no way forgave them but definitely could empathise) and I was so miserable that it's the only real option they thought they had!

And lastly, I'm shocked I now HATE Emma Weaver. Yep. I get being hysterical and stuff, but in no way as a baby could she know Nila would break the 'curse' and she was just going on sheer hope that they wouldn't take her. Seriously? After all you've heard, YOU DIDNT THINK THEYD TAKE HER?! That's the biggest joke I've ever heard. And to take Tex's choice away and take away his baby is so illegal, and I wished he had have fought more instead of listening to her because what if Nila wasn't the strong one and this other kid was, and you just ruined it all for the future? God I still can't get over it! Crazy!!!

I've so so many things to say.

First of all Kes, omg, my heart broke for him. After everything he did for others, he deserved a better ending but I understand where the author is coming from. I wish he get a good after life cause he deserves it more than anyone.

Jet, oh the character development he had. In the first book I was so pissed at him. I actually said that I'll drop the book if she somehow fall for that bastard. But no, I change my mind now. He deserved the ending he got. He deserved his HEA after everything he had suffer. He might not realise this but he was always there for Nila. He was always her protector.

Nila, oh my baby. She's a fighter. A survivor. Every emotion of her was so on point. Nothing made me feel like I'm reading a 'book'. She deserved her HEA. After everything she went through, she deserved it. Her family deserved it. It did end with her.

Jaz and V, they deserve each other. Jaz deserves her HEA because of the pain she went through. V, he went through a lot too. First her mother and then his sister was taken from him. For once, everything was perfect in his life. His life was complete, now that he have his sister and maybe lover. Jaz and V reminds me so much of Jet and Nila when they first met. They are so cutee.

If I could, i'll love to read the whole freaking series for the first time again. Tbh, i didn't had a lot of expectations from this series. I thought it'll be some typical book with bad writing style and bad plot, where nothing would make sense, but how wrong was I. Reading this was the best decision of my life. The whole series was a 5⭐ read. Everything was just so perfect. The plot was so strong. The characters were strong, stubborn and rebel. If I get a chance, then there's nothing I would like to change about the whole story because everything was perfect, except i wish Kestrel had a better ending. Except that everyone deserves the ending they got.

OMG! Ok I can't say I wrote a review for EVERY book in this series because there's like 7 books if you include the bonus Epilogue. BUT WOW! This series definitely left me on the edge of my seat the whole time! and I keep thinking NO WAY!.... NO WAY!.... IS THIS HAPPENING?!? I don't really want to give you any spoilers, but just know that this whole series is totally worth a read.

I will let you know that if you decide to embark on this journey, it is very dark, and not everyone's cup of tea, but if you've read the book description and you're intrigued, it's worth the journey to the end. It did not disappoint me AT ALL. And I would highly recommend this series for those who like that bit of darkness in their lives.
