Longmore never disappoints with his stories. This book follows the Sewell couple during their spring break (both are high school teachers). They make a fateful stop in Flanagan and discover that the locals are friendly... until they aren't. Soon they are plunged into a nightmare involving acts of sexual deviancy and violence. While the whole book is pretty much a trigger warning, Longmore does a great job and isn't just writing torture porn. A great horror novel for anyone who enjoys Splatterpunk and the ugly side of humanity.
