Perfect end to a perfect duet. Loved it!! I was scared to read this book because I loved the first one so much and I went into this one blind as well just to avoid any spoilers. I am so glad I didn't read any reviews beforehand because I think it made me love it even more.

I really loved the character progression and even though I was so upset at times at some of these characters, it all turned out for the best.

I kinda like book 1 but when I think about it my thoughts have changed. Not one of these characters are bright enough to have idealistic pov. The story just keep ridiculous and just dragged the hell on. I skimmed and guess what, still didn’t miss anything. How much annoying it is to drag one secret until 80% even on book 2?! I’m mad at myself ngl

Worth the wait!

I never could have dreamed up a more perfect ending for this story. It absolutely lived up to all my hopes and expectations while anxiously awaiting this sequel.

First book ended on cliffhanger so I had read sequel right away. Angst was at time too much especially with Connor and Wes I hated they were separated and didn't talk for most of this book.
"A love that ran deeper than friendship, deeper than family. A combat-tested bond that transcended blood and bone.
Soul mates." I loved their brotherly connection so much.
There were moments I didn't think my heart could handle much more. There were scenes that simply stole my breath away, that forced me to close the book a moment and step away to collect myself. It filled my heart just as completely as it first broke it wide open. This is a story of acceptance and perseverance, hope and second chances.
Long Live the Beautiful Hearts, together with Bring Down the Stars is true perfection.

Long Live the Beautiful Hearts is one of the most beautiful stories I have read this year. It is absolutely stunning and I cannot even put into words anything that will do this story justice. I felt every single emotion coming out of this story and it will be in my heart for a long time to come. I cannot even begin to tell you how much you need to read this duet. It is poetic and emotional and just everything. I cannot recommend this story higher and it is definitely a favorite read this year.

Exceptional and endearing

This story. This conclusion. I cannot imagine it ending any other way. It was sublime perfection. The poetry was beautiful and made me wish I had taken classes when I was getting my literature degree. The love and emotions that are felt by all the characters was otherworldly. I felt what they felt. Whether it be sadness, fear, or joy. I lived and breathed these characters.

This duet will leave a mark on who I am as a person, as a reader, and as someone who believes that if love is true then it is most assuredly unconditional.

DNF at 36%
Despite the hight ratings this duet has, I just don't care about these characters :/
I skimmed the end to how the book finishes though.
