This had so much potential but it failed to deliver properly. Still, it has each good moments and it's quite atmospheric at times.

This was…almost good?

Really, this disappoints in pretty much every way. The story is confusing and poorly laid out. It sets Batman against a magical enemy, that still feels jarring to me. The missing woman is so colourless that it is difficult to care about her one way or another. And there is no differentiation between the female characters' designs, which is just lazy really.

I enjoy a supernatural aspect to Batman's stories once in awhile. And I thought this one was well-done - plus it's fun to see Batman to team up with The Demon Etrigan. Bonus: A couple of back-up stories, one of which is a possible future with Connor and Damian as an aging Superman and Batman talking about their forebears.

Woooow, I had no idea of these villains and demon creatures. How cool is Gotham universe!
I always want to know more about Batman's psyche and what Bruce Wayne did before he lost his parents. I had never heard of Dawn before.
Really a new refreshing adventure.
