ok first off… all the red neck talk???😵‍💫

honestly, i don’t think much about this book and that 3 was a random rating😭 (and idc to think long and hard abt it)

i’m glad i listened to the abridged version of this audiobook because i don’t think i could handle any more than 2 hours. i’m a wrestling fan(🤪) and i don’t usually look into the wrestlers’ personal lives because they’re weird… and this proved that i should listen to my gut more😭

steve focused mainly on the wrestling business but there were some inserts of his personal life and he’s just as controversial as i thought he was based on the contents of the book

i know most wrestling storylines are scripted but i enjoyed learning about the ins and outs of the business

anyway, i liked the narration. it was a fine memoir

I liked learning new things about Stone Cold Steve Austin's career and hearing about some of his favorite moments. It's strange to read this book so long after it was published and now that many of the people he talked about have died and his career has taken many turns. This would probably have been better as an audiobook if he reads it because it just sounds like he's talking, which doesn't translate to writing well. There are tons of great pictures that make it worth looking at though.

A pretty good overview of Steve's life. The book was entertaining and pretty interesting.

A good read but as for the title (The Stone Cold Truth) that might be a stretch as there things he can't & won't talk about due to legal ramifications.
Also not sure how much of a necessary read this book if you are a regular listener to the Steve Austin Podcast.
