Really loving this series, I’m definitely hooked and can’t wait to continue reading. I loved the trials in this even if they were short, shout out to the cup one, and I’m enjoying the love triangle for sure, moving the mystery to the plot excited for what to come and progress

The book is entertaining but I wouldn’t say its good or great. I have mixed feelings about the writing and certain plot lines (ex. the repetition about Celeana and Dorian’s beauty). At the same time, I liked some of the world-building and the friendship between Celeana and Nehemia.

At first I was a little nervous to start this next book after reading The Assassins Blade. (if you know you know.) But it was incredible! 

I wasn't expecting anything actually. None of it at all. It just kind of jumped out and it felt so random, but not in a bad way, I'd say its more like a shocking topic added in the plot that I ABSOLUTELY adore! It was such a fun read and there was a lot going on I didn't want to put it down. And honestly I didn't. AND OMG the love triangle?! AAHHH! It was so, so so, good!

And the introductory to magic was just- AHHHH! SO COOL!
