I loved the nod to Gideon, Eva, Cary, etc. It was a nice way to wrap up their story, although I'll admit I'll never get enough of them.

Beautiful story full of heartbreak and passion. It definitely hit me with the emotions and I fell hard for these characters. It has been so long since I read a story by Sylvia Day and I was gripping to read this. I am so glad that I really enjoyed it. The twist definitely surprised me and I am so left wanting more. I can't wait to see what Sylvia comes up with next.

When the twist happens at the end, totally unexpected, the book makes more sense. But it's still a sorrowful, let romantic love story. I have to admit, though, that I didn't really like the book because of the twist.

I had high hopes for this book. It did not deliver. The writing is choppy. I didn’t feel any sympathy or empathy for Teagen because there was no development of her character. This takes instalove to a whole new level, and then you get to the last coupon chapters and you’re like “really? That’s the story?”

I just have so many questions and tbh I was so confused. This was a quick novella and I was still like man i cant finish it fast enough LOL It would have been better as a complete book and with more details instead of open ended scenarios.
