Neo and I are getting ready for the holiday season with this great story. Neo took the lead in reading, as he told of the unusual meeting between Bear and Frog. While Bear is getting ready for a quiet Christmas, a knock comes at his door. When he answers, it’s Frog, expecting the best ever Christmas at the Extravaganza Hotel. Unfortunately, frogs are not known for their sense of direction and one wrong turn has left this amphibian in the wrong place. Bear decides to let Frog stay and they concoct their own Christmas fun, with a little help from nature and an intuitive bear. By the end, Frog has made a decision that will forever change his friendship with Bear. Neo was eager to get a jump on the holiday season and this was a wonderfully cute book for him. Decent word usage and a great theme throughout the piece, which any reader can enjoy all holiday season long.
