This isn't the best in the series. It took me awhile to remember the back stories of the characters, the recap was slow. I really wanted to like Ginger and Matt, but I didn't feel like their characters were very authentic. Ginger was near suicide weeks before and now she's all wise and ready for a new relationship? I enjoyed the parts of Winnie and Charlie and Grace.

This is definitely the most heart wrenching book of the series. Despite that, I found it to up lifting. I adored Ginger and her journey to happiness was one I felt so invested in. Again, Carr does an fantastic job of balancing multiple characters and storylines.

It's a good thing I love Ginger and Matt, because I hate Lin Su. I'm skipping Wildest Dreams on this re-read. I don't find her remotely sympathetic and I feel really bad for Charlie.

The latest Thunder Point book and as I always say they keep getting better and better. Ginger the main character in this book, made a brief appearance in the previous book, but she takes center stage in this one. Matt our other main character also made an appearance in the previous book, but you hear more from him in this one.

Matt and Ginger come across each other in the first chapter at a wedding that Ginger is helping with the flowers and Matt is brother to the bride, but still reeling from the break up of his own marriage and a wedding isn't the place for him to be at the moment.

It took me quite a bit longer to read this one. For me, it was the most difficult due to Ginger's loss. I got choked up every time she spoke of Josh. Aside from that and the heartache of Matt's past, I felt the love and butterflies that happened between Matt and Ginger. I loved how they met, it wasn't the greatest circumstances, but it sure was hilarious when they talked about it towards the end of the book.
