This series was amazing I loved it so much. I am very sad to see it end. It was wonderful. I absolutely would read this one again. I couldn't wait for this one and I was not disappointed.

The books in this series are quite short (under 300 pages), and are easy to read. I sped right through this one too. As this concluded the series, I was happy with the wrap-up. It did keep me guessing (although as Jacinda and the others would say "how are these hunters finding us?" it was absolutely obvious to me ... sure took them a while to figure it out!) There were some twists and turns I wasn't expecting, others that were pretty formulaic.

Overall, I liked this series. Similar to werewolves in a way, with the shifting (and much nakedness, in and out of clothes as the are in and out of the dragon form). I still can't quite picture the draki form ... I imagine a dragon, but then as they are so personified, but also talking about their arms and hair and such, while in draki form (hair??? on a dragon?)

Parental Perspective: Language was clean, quite a bit of kissing, and a bunch of nakedness, but no overt sexual content.

I really liked this series except for the fact that Will completely lacks personality. Cassian was way more likeable and better developed than him. If the author put as much work into Will as Cassian this book would be damn near 5 stars.

I enjoyed the world of the draki.
Cheers

I madly love(d) this series, thought to be honest I wanted so much more from its ending than I got.

The book plot itself was amazing. I'm so in awe of the main character, and my love of how these specific dragons are portrayed still. My heart got so much bigger for Cassian, again, the same way as I started leaning at the end of this book. And I desperately wish I knew where he was going off to after this. I think he got the short end of the stick from pretty much everyone and everything.

I loved learning more about the enemy. I loved the neat little tie-up at the end, though I did find it a little too convenient the biggest changes and adjustments of character for The Pride and Will had to happen while Jacinda was asleep. So we never saw the growth, accidents, affirming.

Wow! Finally finished a series I started in my teen years! I definitely liked this series, and I loved the world, but I just thought there was a lot to be desired. The romance isn't the strongest, and three books felt like a little much. It probably could have been a duology instead, with the last two books combined into one.

The one thing that I had a gripe with... I'm VERY confused as to what the Draki look like. They're clearly not human or humanoid because it's very important that the hunters don't know they can turn human. But then the dragons have hair. And Jacinda is sitting in the front seat of Will's car at one point while she's a dragon. And he hands her a class of water and she drinks out of it. Also Will kisses her (like romantically) while she's a dragon... idk I thought all that was a little weird.

But this is a really fun series that I think younger teens especially would love.
