I loved this book! There were many times that I thought a scene would go a specific way and then it didn’t and I loved how it kept me on my toes. Such a great read and a great book!

this wouldve been sm better if it wasnt insta-love 😭. also ngl its kinda unbelievable that they met like only 3 times but he still remembers + misses her a whole SEVEN years in the future. and he never questioned/got mad at her for disappearing (without even leaving a note or smth) and randomly showing up months later???

Just okay. It was a cute story. The MC describing how she’d paint the guy’s eyes & what colors she’d use got super repetitive. Like, we get it you paint!

Simultaneously doing too much and not enough for my taste, but I think that comes down to my irrational anger at time travel-y magical realism as the main driver of a plot. Some cute stuff! The author’s note may have been my favorite part writing-wise.
