A masterpiece, in a trilogy full of masterpieces... but did it have to make me cry? T-T

What a banger of an ending. That last 20 pages or so was really amazing. The world building is so immersive and well done.

Robert Jackson Bennett has consistently blown me away with every book I've read of his, and this one is no different. This entire trilogy is incredibly special to me, and in my opinion it ends perfectly.

This was the third and final book in the divine city trilogy. The book started out a little shaky and confusing, but as things progressed the pace got much better. I would say this book is at least as strong as the first in the series. The reader is exposed to Sigrud in depth and the result it fascinating.
Well worth the read and a great end to a wonderful series!
