The first time I read Jane Eyre about five years ago I gave it 4 stars but this time I’m changing it to 5. I really enjoyed this book and I’m glad I had to pick it up again for uni. Knowing some more historical context to certain topics definitely made it more interesting!

A very moving story about the life of a simple lady with a beautiful journey. It is so magical from the very beginning until the last passage of the novel that you will enjoy each chapter and look forward to reading it fast so your questions will be answered. I personally love this novel because its setting is from the Victorian times and I think that time is very elegant and beautiful plus the fact that Bronte’ sisters, especially Charlotte is one of my life idols.
Enough of my sentiments, going back to the novel, I have to say these things: it is rich, beautifully written and very much romantic in the elegant and old way. It makes you cry and awestruck by how things turned out in the end. Very romantic. Again.
