Great addition to series!

I absolutely adore the Douchebag series. Sara Ney is a genius with the first person perspective and just makes the characters so darn relatable. This one was not my favorite, but still entertaining with both laugh-out loud and tear-jerking moments.

The boys from Iowa are back and yet again getting into trouble. This time they have included the coach’s daughter and it will change everything. Sara Ney this time takes you into the life of Anabelle, the wrestling coach’s daughter, and has a new spin with her finding a friend that is not a wrestler, but who knows all about their antics. This friends, to roommates, to lovers story brings together two people who know what they want out of life but might not know that what they are looking for is right in front of them. The way these two will come to care for each other will have you rooting for them to the end. This is a great addition to the How To Date A Douchebag series and will make you a want to read them all over again.

Anabelle is finally with her dad after all these years and is excited to start a new chapter of her life. And of course now that she is going to the same school that he coaches at, he has of course told her to stay away from the wrestlers and vice versa. Anabelle doesn’t mind the rule all she wants is a new place to stay and stay out of trouble. But a chance encounter and a bet could change everything.

When Elliot finds a girl has taken over his stop at the library, he is annoyed but tries to make do. When it continues to happen he can’t help but wish she would find another table, that is until he finds her crying one night and decides to find out if she is okay. What he isn’t expecting is to find a new friend and a new roommate.

Anabelle and Elliot dance around each other and find themselves falling into a great friendship while living together. He is helping her get back at the guys who made a bet against her while she is helping him get out and enjoy himself. But soon they cant ignore their feelings for each other and take their relationship to the next level. But will they define what they are before Elliot leaves for grad school? Or will a surprise twist in their lives dictate their relationship and force them to make decisions they aren’t ready for or are too scared to make?

Absolutely love this series and Sara Ney. Elliot was the good guy however he did have some douchy moments. Anabelle was such a strong heroine as are all the girls in this series. I can't wait to see if Rex (yes Rex) gets a story, he did redeem himself pretty well in this book.

Well this was disappointing. Just like with previous book girl was douchebag but unlike that where there was growth, this one felt like first book in series.
I like Elliott in Oz book but here he didn't make sense sometimes but still "better" part of couple.
Annabelle on other hand I hate let me me give one example “that guy is dating a girl with a speech impediment?” I want to DNF right there coach is cool character same can't be said about his daughter.
They get together fast but in last part of book it's all about her and Rex?!
Anyways best part of book is Zeke and Violet breadcrumbs superior couple of series.

What an ending to an amazing series! It is so bittersweet. I am so sad that this will be the last douchebag installment, but it was such a great story and a great book to end on.

This one was different from the other stories in this series. It still had the same wit, the same humor and the same heart, but it had a difference in the types of characters that were the main focus. I still loved everything about this story.

I found myself laughing. I found myself swooning. I found myself near tears with the beautiful emotion in this story. I was completely drawn into this story and I would love to read more from these characters and the side characters in the story.

I can't wait for more from Sara and to see what she decides to work on next.

I was such a big fan of this series, but the final installment left me feeling disappointed.
Spoiler The overall storyline was decent until the last 30-40%, and then came completely unraveled. It was almost a different book. Elliot up and leaving, Ana's pregnancy, the love triangle with Rex, the abrupt ending, and Elliot being completely forgiven after the way he treated Ana...Just no.

I adored the first three books and will still recommend those to book friends. Definitely in the minority, but this is one finale I did NOT enjoy.

I was not sold on the couple. I dont think they have real feelings for each other or can be in it for the long haul.

To say I’m a bit disappointed in this book would be understatement.
With the series being “how to date a douchebag” I expected them all to be about the douchebags on the wrestling team.
They’re not bad books, just not at all what I was expecting. If she would have ended up with Rex that would have made more sense to go with the theme of the stories.
