It took much longer to finish this than expected because of final exams. Finally got to finish today but I'm not satisfied with that ending.

ladies and gentlemen; her. this is such a good book. deservedly iconic. i loved it so so much. my favourite so far of christie's work. it's so well crafted and the reveal is slowly worked up to in a way that makes it all so so good. the characters are great, the setting is fantastic and i really really liked it.
Spoiler the way i kind of rolled my eyes when some characters started to be revealed to have known the armstrong family, because there were a few in a row and i went like this is stupid, and then the actual reveal happened which was really really good and i felt embarrassed i hadn't seen it coming </ spoiler>

Meh, I dunno. This took me quite a while to get through and it's not even a very long book. I just couldn't get into it.

I know it's a popular classic, but the mystery wasn't very intriguing and I didn't really like Poirot as a character.

I might try another Agatha Christie book eventually, but I wasn't a fan of this one.

Such a good read. I was always afraid to read Agatha Christie because I thought it would be dated. But it really wasn't bad at all. There was some grammar that due to the time period was slightly different, but a quick read and if I could be ever so bold, very elegantly transferred to the silver screen in the latest adaptation.
