The message he wanted to give is quite clear. If one knows a little about his life, one can say that this book is all about shaping of globalisation at the time the book was written. The symbols which are very strong are the clues for us to understand what a developping country goes through before we see her in the world market.

Een opmerkelijk verhaal, dat me deed denken aan Kafka's Gedaanteverwisseling. Echter gaat Dostojewski, trouw aan zichzelf, in op allerhande politieke en levensbeschouwelijke tradities, die voor mij nu nog moeilijk te volgen zijn.

داستان مردی که به همراه همسرش و دوستش به دیدن یک تمساح میره و اونجا توسط تمساح بلعیده میشه ولی زنده میمونه و شروع میکنه به دادن تز های سیاسی فرهنگی از داخل شکم تمساح و از طرفی ما رفتارهای دوست و همسرش رو هم در داستان میبینیم که چه میکنند. خب بنده از داستان ها و روایات با حرف های گل درشت خیلی خوشم نمیاد و این داستان پر از عبارات و کنایه های گل درشت اقتصادی و سیاسی و فرهنگی و حتی اندکی فلسفی هست. طنز بدی نداره ولی شبیه داستان های سرسری نوشته شده هست ولی خب در انتها نوشته ی جناب داستایوفسکی هست و باید خوند. به نظرم یه ترجمه ی دیگه در یک مجموعه داستان از این روایت دیده بودم ولی متاسفانه اسم اون کتاب یادم نیست. ه
