Please allow me to wax nostalgic and poetic on this book. I remember getting a couple of chapters to read for homework in either 2nd or 3rd grade. I remember reading them and thinking “wow! I need more of this story and Meg” at some point after that I was gifted this book by my family. And I loved it dearly for many years (until I got swept up in the HP craze) and I stopped rereading this series. This book is not perfect. But I remember feeling proud of being myself because Meg was proud of who she was. I remember wanting to know more about the Periodic Table because she had it memorized. I highly recommend rereading books you haven’t read since you were 12 or younger. Rediscovering those pages you first got sucked into. Because maybe you, like myself, will find out why you did the things you did. 5/5 because a book that makes you who you are today deserves all the stars. Now to watch the movie!!

Roy Kent motivated me to read it but I really couldn’t get into it.
I may come back to it after some time.

I was surprised by how much I loved this classic. I really enjoyed the audiobook version.

I enjoyed this book, it was entertaining, but i didn't think it was anything to wrute home about. I found the story simple, the characters flat and the dramatic scenes too dramatic. Maybe I should have read it as a kid.

Bizarre is the only way I could describe this.
Meant for a young audience, but I highly doubt they'd even understand what's going on.
But keeping in mind how old this book is and how heavily recommended, it wasn't all that bad.
Once you get introduced to the weird characters, you get used to their wonky names. Has a sweet ending.
PS. Damn the Disney movie has a star cast!
