The spice scenes. What can I say about them? Steamy. Hot. Blushing worthy. Thank god I read this at home cause I would be red like a tomato if I read this out and about. Dominic is a hot sexy man who has a dirty mouth but still begged for Ćle to stay with him, even let him take her out on a date, or even asking Ćle to let him pursue her again it was EXCELLENT!!! I loved King of Greed more than King of Pride I havenāt read King of Wrath yet but I plan on doing so.
I would recommend this book to people, yes, Iāll cry doing so if Iām being honest. PLEASE READ THE BOOK!!!!!! The only thing I am disappointed about was the ending for Roman we donāt know what happened to him after the contract was leaked and I wished to know but overall I love this book too much to even take a quarter point off the rating.

King of Greed it's not just a book about how two people reconnect, but also about forgiveness, love, and how they heal each other heart.
I loved this book and how different it is from the others written by Ana.
We are used to big grovel from other books written by her, but Dominic's is totally different. He doesn't have to make big gestures to win her back, but small gestures matter. It's like you have everything (money, house, etc.), but the only things you don't have are happiness, love and affection.
I really loved how Ana portrayed Alessandra's pain, as well as Dom's. In some chapters it is described so beautifully and deeply that you as a reader begin to feel what the characters feel at that moment. And when everything becomes too much it is normal for tears to appear.
I would like to tell you more, but after reading this review, I just want you to leave with certain things:
Ā 1. sometimes you have to lose someone to realize that you can't live without that person
Ā 2. sometimes it's the little things that matter
Ā 3. this book is not only a love story but also a lesson from which we must learn
Ā 4. Alessandra and Dom have to rediscover each other in order to have a new stable relationship and the road is long and painful
Thank you Ana Huang for this opportunity to read this beautiful book in exchange for an honest review.Ā

Honestly, I feel like Ćle and Dom need some time apartāfor real, without him ācoincidentallyā ending up in the same place as herāand both individual and couples therapy to really make their relationship work again. She mightāve learned to put herself first, to stand up for what she wants and needs, but he needs to learn to respect boundaries.
And that reminds me.
āāI would stalk you if it meant youād talk to me again.ā
āHow romantic.ā
āIām past romantic, Alessandra. Iām desperate.āā
Heās acting like a child that forgot about their favorite toy and is now throwing a fit because said toy was donated. As if itās not his own damn fault that heās in this situation. And itās aggravating as hell.
All of that aside, thereās something to be said about the fact I read this in a day. I donāt know the last time I did that, or even came close. It might have problems, but damn if itās not an entertaining read despite them. Iām still cackling about the library scene.
(Although I wonāt lie, Iām INCREDIBLY SALTY that there were two weddings in this book and neither of them were for Kai and Isa. Theyāre the stars of this show and they deserve better.)
Current ranking of the series:
- King of Pride (reigns supreme)
- King of Greed (is still good)
- King of Wrath (go to hell Dante)
Representation:
- demisexual Brazilian protagonist
- dyslexic protagonist
- dyslexic Brazilian side character
- Filipina-Chinese side character
- Chinese side characters
Graphic: Abandonment, Child abuse, and Sexual content
Moderate: Blood, Violence, Gun violence, and Death
All sexual content is explicit but consensual. One protagonist dealt with abuse and abandonment as a child; itās mentioned semi-frequently on-page. There are a couple of physical altercations, one involving a gun, but no fatal injuries; none of it occurs between the two protagonists. Thereās one unrelated death on-page, but itās only a guest at an event the main characters attend.hellowildflower's review against another edition
