If you like musicals then you will like this book.

I recently found out some Roald Dahl books have been edited or cut which is a shame because I don't find them offensive at all.

Questa cosa che a un certo punto Dahl ha iniziato a infilare accenni che collegavano i vari libri mi fa morire. Quando qui viene menzionata la fabbrica di Willy Wonka, mia figlia si è gasata. Comunque il libro è delizioso: come spesso accade alle storie brevi di Dahl, è divertente, fantasioso, piacevolissimo.

This book is a perfect example of the extraordinary imagination that Roald Dahl had. This is a charming little book about a giraffe, a pelican, and a monkey teaming up to be window-washers with a little boy whose dream is to own a sweet shop. Their adventures are adorable and the limericks are so catchy you might catch yourself singing them out loud! It's a perfect book to give your children.

Don't remember much of the story but for the fact that I spent hours of my childhood sitting on my bean bag chair reading and re-reading this story until it hurt to smile.
