This!!! I was so intrigued when I saw Riley Marie y’all about this book. I’ve just starting reading a lot of romance and I hadn’t yet picked up a paranormal one. It was fascinating and I actually found myself enjoying it. I found it hard to suspend my disbelief when the main characters first hand sex. Shara is a virgin and within a few hours of meeting her sibs she has a threesome. Kudos to her for having that much confidence but it wasn’t that believable. I’m very intrigued by the world building and I can’t wait to meet other vampire queens. Also, someone tell me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that this has some Egyptian mythology which was definitely a bonus!

This was short and SPICY and everything I didn’t know I needed till I was reading it!! Pretty sure this is going to be my newest obsession! The world seems VERY intriguing as well!!

I really enjoyed this read! It was the perfect amount of spice and plot. It did keep me wanting more so it was hard to put down. I stayed up far too late to finish this.

This book is a good start to a series drenched in lots of fun, paranoramal intrique, plots and machinations, and sex. Lots and lots of blood kissed, menage, no holds barred paranormal sex.

It's told in multiple first person so that everyone gets a chance to show their POV. Nothing gets missed. This book basically sets up the series. I did get a bit tired of some of the human aspects of Shara's personality and beliefs getting in the way of what needs to get done, but she gets over it. The point is that she didn't grow up in the world that she is now a part of, so she isnt already "tainted" by it.
She has one or two really TSTL moments but if you can get past them, the series pans out. Her naivety gets a little tired, but again, it pans out later in the series as it develops.
Read this is you are looking for a new series, like lots of hot paranormal menage, and like dynamic, progressive series that actually end.

The story follows Shara who has been running from place to place since her mother died. She finds out that her mother was a vampire and enters into a relationship with two men. Its a very spicy book but done in a way that isn't cringe. I enjoyed this one but Shara was annoying in areas that I thought she would be stronger in due to the nature of her life. I also found the ending a but abrupt and thought that there wasn't much meat to this storyline. Its very focused on the spicy scene and a little less on the plot which I guess is to be expected for an erotica book.
