This reads like In-cel porn. MMC hates women, very clearly states that he hates women, and then holds a woman prisoner in the guise of “protecting her”. Despite her very normal reaction to being taken prisoner, everyone treats her as if she’s an unruly child. There’s no warnings for CNC that is very clearly in the non-consent territory most of the time.  Love this type of romance usually but unless there’s very clear consent, I’m not for it. And this book has almost no consent at all.

Three stars for the plot. Definitely not for the smut….
Simon has been “obsessed” with Meredith since the moment he saw her five years ago. Many of his friend group taught that he was gay, since he never shown much interest into women(weird assumption). An opportunity gets him, when Meredith’s life is in danger when the family of the guy that she killed, are after her. So, Simon forcefully keeps her at his house. They kept growling at each other and then one day that growling turned into moaning.
The end.

TW: CNC; voyeurism; blood; torture; kidnapping; sexual content

<b> Quotes: <b>

<I> The way he looks at me… I’ve never felt so desired, so damn wanted.

She’s the moon to my sun.
I will be her lord and master now.

In his obsession, I’ve found my power again. To be fucking worshipped from afar and not even realize it…
It’s the strongest drug I’ve ever tasted, and I want more of it.

“You’ve had years to get yourself off. From now on, if you want to come, you’ll come on my cock.”

“Better than any wedding band will ever be, princess. I’ve marked you for the world to know you belong to fucking me.” <I>

The plot in few words:
<b> It’s like when he fucked me he broke something inside me. He broke my ability to hate him. <b>
