My first James Patterson! Read for a work assignment. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. Knew there'd be a twist, but it wasn't the twist I thought I saw... and honestly I preferred my twist 🤣

This book is not like my traditional contemporary romance/ spicy books I normally read. This murder mystery was one of my top 3 favorite books. If you like criminal minds or law and order SVU this book and book series (Women's Murder Club) Is for you. highly recommend!! It also has strong female leads in traditional male dominated professions which I LOVE!

Definitely not the best of the Women’s murder club series but also not the worst. Luckily it’s fast paced and a quick read. The plot twists are kinda messy not gonna lie but this does make it more unpredictable. 

Side note: Personally I thought the suicidal scenes were a bit too much and unnecessary almost…

This was meh. It kept me interested but I thought it could have been a bit better. I especially dont like getting sucked into a romance for no reason. I also thought it was a bit of a cop out that the main character's ailment suddenly stabilizes. 
Originally I had planned on reading a majority of this series but found out that it is mostly written by other authors. And while I like co authors this seems more like a business than actual co authoring. In which an industry name gets more credit and most likely profit.
