Honestly, I've never loved a 5th book in a series before this one. The absolute SETUPS in all of the previous stories. It keeps making rules and subverting them in the coolest ways. This one had a few different genres wrapped in it. It was a heist, a horror, absurdism(?), a drama, and a tavern one shot all in one. It was just a GOOD TIME. the best thing about this is that Matt makes us love his characters and they feel like real people. With the hope through all of these books it remains a great time. I can only hope for the future of this series. It will be the litrpg fiction definer like The Hunger Games did for ya dystopia. And it is so worthy.

Cannot put it down and just keep thinking about the next time I get to read it again. The previous books are some better plot lines, but this is still fast paced and the twists still get you.
