i found 99% of this to be incredibly dull and uneventful. the parts where it’s supposed to be shocking or disturbing are entirely predictable and don’t have the impact i assume they were meant to. at least it was a short read!

"A tour de force of psychological unease" sums this up pretty well. Enjoyed the writing, had a love/hate relationship with the book. Trigger warnings abound.
