This book feels like a fever dream and maybe not in a good way.

Cobble Hill was a fun and unique type of book! I have never read or seen Gossip Girl but am adding that to my TBR (and TBW) list after reading this book and knowing that the author is the same as Cobble Hill. As I was reading Cobble Hill, I felt as if I were reading a screenplay for a TV series, and one that I would binge watch. Will there be a next for Cobble Hill? I was intrigued and entertained, and gobbled up page after page easily and excitedly. The characters were realistic in an eccentric way, and I was eager to read what each one would do next. It was a delicious and refreshing read and I am looking forward to reading more by this author!

I like a book where it is just about people's lives intertwining usually, even if there is not a ton of plot, but this one... None of the characters are likable except the two teens, and nothing really interesting happens. Also after finding out the author lives in Cobble Hill, I feel kinda weird about how the people of Cobble Hill were portrayed against people from across the Gowanus. Like it pointed out the difference without taking any accountability for it... just... weird for someone who lives super close like myself to see her not really acknowledge the reasons for the exorbitant wealth gap between Cobble Hill and Gowanus.

This story follows several families living in the neighborhood of Cobble Hill in Brooklyn. There were almost too many characters to keep up with to feel like I got to know any of them well. It's a basic study in everyday life. Only the people in it are fairly wealthy and somewhat famous.

I like stories with intersecting lives of the characters. The viewpoint would change between characters often - sometimes even within a paragraph and that was confusing at times. I'm not sure what to say about the story. It's a little about nothing and a lot about relationships. If you like character driven books this story is for you.

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC!

There is something about the crazy characters in this book who are so full, eccentric, and entertaining that I loved. The book is about four married couples in Cobble Hill and their crazy antics that bring them together. I loved that the characters had depth. They are not insipid, vapid characters whose every actions are a foregone conclusion. Rather, I found them hilarious with their cluelessness. This book was completely entertaining and would be an amazing move as well! Thank you to NetGalley and Atria for my copy of this book!

Picked this up at the library. I've been reading a bunch of serious books lately and needed something lighter and fun. This was it! Entertaining. A fun story. Liked it quite a bit.

I want to say I liked this book. I liked the characters and learning about their lives and personality flaws. That is where it ends. This book goes absolutely nowhere. I am sad that I invested time in a story that really has no story. Lots of little vignettes that happen throughout the same timeframes that weave the characters lives together, but nothing comes of it. So many missed opportunities with this book.

Witty in some areas and otherwise catastrophically unorganized in plot development & character POV. I was bummed about the ending.
