”I wanted him so bad, but I wanted to punch him in the face for making me want him this badly.”

I liked this book but I didn’t love it much to my dismay initially HOWEVER I seem to be unable to return this book. I have reread it multiple times and I can’t get enough of Devon and Maddox and now I find myself really excited that we’re getting another book of them.

This was a bit of a rollercoaster book for me and I wasn't sure I actually enjoyed it for a bit there. I think the dynamic between the MCs just threw me and I couldn't understand it.

But I get what the author tried to do (I mean it's in the foreword) and I think maybe it was just an experience and motivation I couldn't relate to as well.

It just felt a bit over the top and forced (the "enemies" part).

Really enjoyed this one. Although the guys acted younger than they were which threw me sometimes.

This is a good story that I just didn't vibe with. The premise is unique. The dynamic between Devon and Maddox is one that I have not seen before. I think my struggle was that both MCs felt too similar to truly discern one from the other. The story was good, and the characters were interesting, but they weren't very different from each other to me. It had me struggling at times in the story, keeping them straight in my head. I mostly enjoyed the story, and I really like what was trying to be done here, it's just not really for me.
