Hilarious and timely. Edna the chicken isn't afraid of the biggest and meanest dinosaur in the forest. My kids and I laughed and I would recommend it for you dino lovers out there.

A super funny book that would be lots of fun to read aloud to elementary children. T-Rex comes crashing through trying to scare everyone but Edna stands her ground and scares T-Rex away. The ending was silly but I really appreciated the note at the end of the book stating there was no actual fights between T-Rex and chickens.

This book was a giggle a minute! Edna gives all she's got and takes on T-rex! A funny take on birds evolving from theropods...which is the group T-rex belonged to. The littles will love it, but be ready for your dino masters to ask questions. A hoot!

Seriously hilarious! This book explains why there are no more T-Rexs but plenty of chickens in the world. Silly and fun. It would be a good story time book.

"I am small and brave and you should fear me" - words to live by from Edna.

Really cute book--loved the ending!

(However, I wish they had chosen an easier dinosaur species than "Parasaurolophus" for one of the secondary characters! That sucker is tricky to say :-P )

This was a gloriously fun read. It is a bit silly, but very entertaining, and has great onomatopoeias. I think it would be charming for a kindergarten or preschool storytime.
