I had only heard about this book once before, but for some reason I felt compelled to read it.
I quite enjoyed this book but to be honest I feel the main plot point of the flashbacks were unnecessary and irrelevant. I’m not someone that usually NEEDS a happy ending to be satisfied but I felt I would have enjoyed it more if it had one. (Although it probably wouldn’t have made much sense).

Not my cup of tea. I enjoyed the flashbacks into Nellie's life but most of Alice's point of view was frustrating.
