I will review this book soon! Need to take a week off because of life...may be back on feet sooner, but trying to get some kind of order back in my life.

This book didn’t quite do it for me, with a narrow view of feminism and womanhood that spent a long time identifying women as ‘that sort of girl’ ‘wild’ or ‘easy’ and trying to separate the main character from that rep, instead of challenging that categorisation of women in the first place. The male lead was given some exposition heavy chapters that felt clunky and virtue signalling to me.
The plot also felt prolonged, and ricocheted between things too easily resolved or given way too much significance.
Just not for me i’m afraid.

It was such a breath of fresh air to have a non-white couple. More of this please. That said, I enjoyed the early chapters more than the later ones. There was never any "hate" here. It was an enjoyable read.

I don’t really know how to review this. On one hand, I hated the first half of the book. On the other hand, I thought the second half was really cute, and I liked the message, even if the author did hit you over the head with it. I am erring on the side of caution and putting this in the middle.

Didn't find it interesting. Was looking forward to a plot devlopment but it never came even after 80%.  Characters were becoming annoying with one-dimensional trait.
