This is a heavy emotional read, but I really enjoyed that. There's a lot of heavy topics that are the focus, and they're all handled pretty well (imo). It's not perfect, I wish there was more activism for lack of a better word but I'm happy enough that these characters get their happily ever after together. My heart really aches for Holland and what he goes through. I wish the therapy had continued but then I also wouldn't have trusted a shrink in this world to actually have his best interests at heart so *shrugs*. Orion gets POV but I still dunno if I "know" him and I can't fully say I buy the "love story" 100 percent. I buy that they'll get there one day but eh, i dunno. Still, I really loved Holland and his journey and I'm happy he's happy. I'll for sure read the third book once it's out.
