The plot is pretty predictable at this point in the series. The ending to this one was pretty different, but I feel like I struggled to get into the book at the beginning. One more to go.

I really thought about skipping this book and going straight to Death, which is the last one, but so glad I didn't and read this. It was everything I wanted from this series. Best book so far. Loved the love story and the characters. I read a review that said she didn't like the female characters and that the male characters have a better depth and I agree. I think that is what has been missing from the previous books because I loved how sassy Ava was and her character.
Can't wait to read the last one.

Thank you to NetGalley, Bloom Books, and Sourcebooks for letting me read this arc! This was fantastic to read. Ana is a spit fire and has overcome so much in her life. Reading their journey was really nice and different from the other first two books. The ending was such a cliff hanger and I can not wait to read Death!

Note: I accidentally started Death (book 4) and decided to finish it; before I read this book. I definitely recommend reading them in order.
So Famine was those most brutal of the horsemen in my opinion. He was also the horseman I felt the worst for and understood his brutality. Watching him fall for Ana was so sweet.
Ana was my absolute favorite heroine. She is so strong. I love her ability to overcome the horrible things that she has had to endure. She's also funny. When she references "BJs for Humanity" I'm not sure I've ever laughed so hard. That move she made at the end of the book was so bad ass!
Together they were incredible. Their story felt the most genuine to me. They really grew and got to know each other. They also were super sexy and spicy.
I'm really sad that I am done with this series now. I really really enjoyed it. Generally after the first or second book in a series, it tend to start losing me. This one had me with all 4 books.
I absolutely recommend this series to any paranormal romance lovers!
