Listened to this audiobook in advance of a panel moderated by the author. Very interesting history of the video game industry, as well as anecdotes about video game addiction. The beginning sucked me in, but it dragged a little in the middle.

Ignore the rather sensationalist title, this is one of the best volumes of writing on videogames I've ever read. A genuinely thoughtful exploration of the different ways in which people interact with games, and one which - while not condemning - is not afraid to criticise or to point out that these can sometimes be harmful.

Well worth reading.
