Love Shakespeare ... love this book. It's all about what we do not know about the Bard.

Overall, this book was just okay. I didn't know how much we didn't know about Shakespeare. In a way, this was really a book about book about Shakespeare, rather than a book about the man himself. Fun and easy, but not particularly helpful if you want to know about Shakespeare.

Delightfully interesting glimpse into who William Shakespeare was - or might have been. Neatly written and enjoyable to read.

This is a light, well written read that doesn't say much at all. Mostly because there isn't much that we can definitively say about Shakespeare. This is a good way to recap what we DO know about The Bard, and I found it to also be a good primer on Elizabethan and Jacobian (?) England.

Good, quick read. Learned some stuff. I am happy to announce that Bill devoted a chapter to proving the naysayers wrong who claim Shakespeare's stuff was written by any number of other people.
