Mildly interesting book on the career of an astronaut. While it wasn't the best book I've read on the subject, Col. Hadfield has a nice, engaging personality and plenty of advice that can be applied to many walks of life. Took me a year to finish this book, but only two sittings.

This book is an interesting blend of biography, inspirational, and leadership tips. It was pretty fascinating to learn about how things are done in a zero-gravity environment and Col. Hadfield explains everything well without the writing feeling mechanical.

I loved this. Let alone super interesting facts about life in space, Chris Hadfield’s character is so likable, that I didn’t want the book to ever end. His outlook on things, personal experiences, issues and how he dealt with them were refreshing. Probably will try to follow some of the life advises he gives :)
Oh, and ground control to major Tom!

Delightfully down to earth (pun intended), quietly poignant and contemplative, but also injected with laughter out loud humour, a wonderful memoir that I’m so happy to have finally finished. The audiobook is especially good as Hadfield’s inflections add another dose of humour to the book, and while casual, bordering on seemingly unedited, there is a very human element to it that makes it more like a casual conversation or podcast than over curated audiobook.

At times the book ranged too far into the "guide to life on earth" territory, but filled with funny, mind blowing, and generally entertaining stories told well. Chris hadfield seems like a really interesting and friendly person, and very easy to root for.
