An overall average but satisfying conclusion to the Sheets series!

Perfect end to the trilogy. This was a healing read for me from the perspective of school bullying and growing up autistic (I think Eliza’s character is really well written). I got confused with keeping track of characters through colour scheme changes a couple of times, but nonetheless I enjoyed the artwork and light touch to the storytelling.

This final volume really found its footing and tied everything up together nicely. Since the first volume, the use of color has also been so helpful in keeping the story organized.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it’s connection to the overall story of the previous 2 books. I liked the deep look into life after death, those that miss and grieve you, as well as the look into the life happening around us and the growing pains of adolescence, friendships, and finding those you can trust in the world.

I would highly recommend this series!

This is a lovely end to the Sheets trilogy, though the second (Delicates) remains my favorite.

The series finale focuses heavily on our ghost friend, Wendell, who is trying to learn more about his life and death. Ghosts can't remember much from their life, but Wendell is visiting some important places from his life, so the memories are slowly coming back to him. Marjorie and Eliza, his living friends, decide to help Wendell solve his mystery.

Meanwhile, Marjorie and Eliza's friendship is a bit rocky. Eliza only wants to talk about ghosts and their mystery, while Marjorie wants friends who have more "normal" interests. Neither of them can really understand why the other won't adjust for them. The girls eventually learn that friendship is partially about making an effort to care about and understand the things that their friends are interested in (among other things). They also solve Wendell's mystery, which is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time.

I sped through this entire series, and I'm quite sad it's over. I'm looking forward to seeing what Brenna Thummler might create next!

An absolutely lovely, comforting, beautiful, emotional end to a fantastic series. Despite all the sadness and loneliness, this book is really just a warm hug of friendship. The art is gorgeous as always — that scene of Marjorie and her dad by the Christmas tree might be one of the prettiest things of all time — and the characters are so lovable and well-rounded. Wendell is my little cinnamon roll of a ghost boy, and I'm SO HAPPY he's a dancer just like me :) I'm sad to see this story end, but I'm so happy I spent so much time with Marjorie, Eliza, and WENDELL!

Thank you to Netgalley and Oni Press for the eARC! This was a fantastic end to the trilogy, the story made me laugh  and cry.
A great story about grief, healing, friendship, and finding light through the darkness!

I loved diving deeper into Wendell’s life and finding out what happened to him, although it did make me sob 😭 I also enjoyed watching Marjorie grow compared to books 1 and 2! I enjoyed this book slightly more than Delicates, simply because we got more Wendell 👻

The imagery and way Thummler so simply expressed emotions through single images was once again really well done. I’m sad the series is over but thought it was beautifully wrapped up 💗

I’ll definitely be reading more from Thummler and watching for her next book! Thanks to her, I discovered I actually really love graphic novels and am so excited to continue exploring the genre 🥰
