I read this book in one day - yes, you must know. Great fast paced plot with good twists.
Selena discovers her husband, Graham, is having sex with the nanny. He was laid off, supposedly looking for a new job. Guess not.
Pearl lives with her mom, Stella - never told her dad's identity. Stella dates Charlie who starts to work at her bookstore.
Anne is having sex with her boss - she's a con artist working her latest scheme.
Geneva is the nanny. She goes missing after leaving Selena's house.
Little predictable but oh what a plot.
Highly recommend.

I had one of the main twist figured out early in the book and so nothing else really surprised me because it just made sense as the story developed. I usually really like her books but this one was not as good as I expected.

I selected this book because I really enjoyed The New Couple in 5B. I was expecting more of the same -- a juicy mix of mystery and paranormal. This one was good, but it lacked the paranormal component, so I was slightly disappointed. Still a good mystery though.

3.5/5 enjoyable story but I probably shouldn't have read this right after reading another by the same author. They were similar enough in plot and especially writing (certain phrases etc) that it got a bit tiresome at times. Fun story though and I liked the ending.

Meh. Once you're introduced to all the characters, the rest of the book is easy to guess.

Soft pick. Very suspenseful, definitely kept me reading, but I don’t know that it will stand out in the long run.
