My class are still grumbling about the "unfairness" of a massive rocket leaving Earth and only Curiosity getting to land on Mars

A winner! I have loved the format, and the illustrations, though I also yearned for a few photos.

Loved the art style and it was easy to understand. That was really cool! My bf picked it out for my cousin to read but... I wanted to take a peek at it too  :3

(3.5 STARS) Very informative. I never knew they were building this kind of rover!

Definitely a wow book. A great mix of simple children's picture book and real non-fiction science book. It goes back and forth on the same page mostly by using font size. But it works. And the art is good but not distracting. Informative and yet not wordy. Really just a success of a book.

I really liked that the story is told in the voice of Curiosity. Made it reader-friendly.

I love that this story was told from the perspective of the Mars Rover. I also loved there was a storyline and then labeled diagrams in the pictures.

This book is a lovely introduction to all things Mars missions for young readers. I really like that there is a narrative through-line as well as supplemental information so that you can adjust the amount of content for the age of the reader. Also, how cute is that rover?!

This is how you write a book about going to Mars. The right mix of story and information. Nice artwork.
