Overall the book was good and held my interest, but by the end of the book I was kind of sick of Teddy, he got pretty annoying and a little too much like a little kid. Barret talking about himself in the third person got old really fast too.

A nice low-stakes book with lots of cute caretaking. The beginning really broke my heart, so it was nice to see Teddy find end up in a much better place. It got a bit BDSM 101 in a few parts which I guess made sense since one MC was new to kink, but I generally find those parts boring to read. The last third of the book also felt pretty slow and uneventful. But overall it was an enjoyable, sweet read.

The book starts with heartbreak as Teddy is dealt a blow that he was not expecting. As he is dealing with that and being left behind/alone again, a familiar person begins to be noticed more. Barrett has ignored a major part of himself for years but Teddy causes all of those emotions out. As the two become friends then more, you can see how well the two blend together to become stronger. I enjoy the slow burn and the building of their relationship and cannot wait for more.

I had so much fun reading this story, it's so sweet and fluffy I enjoyed it so much. The kink is perfection and so fitting to their relationship, Teddy and Bear go together beautifully. Also liked that they didn't jump straight into a relationship, that they got to know each other and develop as friends first which was adorable.
Their first scene together, falling into his arms is just too cute and there are so many lovely moments here. Such as the festival, Halloween party, unicorns, video games and the knots club. Oh and the Christmas festive scenes were great, I love how excitable Teddy is and Barrett is just perfect caring for him.
While this has plenty of soft fluffy moments, it did amazing with the kink too and lifestyle which I adored. These two are steamy as heck together and shout out to that cinema trip, oh and visiting the club. I liked seeing Teddy get used to the scene and what worked for him, how he researched to figure it out first whether something he wanted before jumping into with Bear.
Overall I just had a lot of fun reading this story and I loved the rest of the cast too, Tony is a fovorite of mine. But I'm excited for Dylan and Leo's story, as both really intrigued me here so be interesting to see their development.

*May/December, Daddy kink*
Aww can I please give Teddy a big hug, this is how I felt for most of this book.
Teddy is dealt a blow by being dumped by his two boyfriends so is now homeless, When Barrett finds out the barista he has a bit of a crush on is looking for somewhere to live, he tries to make things better by offering the apartment above his garage as a place for him, It's the beginning of friendship that gets closer as time goes by, until an accident brings things to a head and true feelings are revealed. This is a super sweet read and it is lovely to read how Teddy changes from a scared untrusting man in to one who has confidence in not only himself but that of his relationships. All down to how safe and secure Barrett makes him feel.
It's well written, the characters were likeable and realistic. I really enjoyed this book so much so I am dying for the next one in the series and I really want to know what happened between Jason and Tony, wondering also what is going to happen next. The for the fans of the May/Dec genre this book is a must buy.

I actually enjoyed this one more than I thought I would!
The writing was decent, the characters and build lovely, and the kink was fairly light in the scheme of things. Honestly, my biggest issue was that the book was waaay too long. The last 1/3 of the book was entirely unnecessary. Which pains me to say, because it's where almost all the sex scenes were, but that was ALL there was. Once they ~get together~ there is ZERO tension or plot, so you're basically just reading them being happy together for a 100 pages. Which, don't get me wrong, I'm glad they got together, but when you're telling a story, you've got to maintain some tension or it's just boring.

I absolutely loved this story between Teddy and his Bear. It was high on emotions, love, and happiness, with some steam and some kink thrown in as well.
Teddy has had a rough life, he’s been abandoned, been alone, and now most recently his two boyfriends unexpectedly broke up with him. Teddy is staying with his friend, when Barrett steps in and offers him a place to stay. Barrett is almost 20 years older than Teddy, and has tried to stay away from kink and his Daddy-ness after his own bad breakup. But he sees the possibility of so much more with Teddy, although he does fight it at first. At first they both want friendship, but it’s so clear they’re crazy for the other.
I loved these two together, how perfect they were for each other and how they healed by being such a great couple together. It’s a very sweet story, and a bit of a slow burn. For people wanting more hardcore kink or daddy lifestyle, this might be a bit too sweet for you. But if you want a sweet story with minimal angst, definitely give this one a try.
I look forward to more from this author collab, it was great!
I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
ETA on 6/17/19 - I also really enjoyed the narrator. This is the first book I have listened to from him, and I thought his voices and mannerisms for Teddy and Barrett were great, and I loved Dylan and all of his "OH MY GOD"s. Look forward to hopefully hearing more from this narrator!

Another NTM author, a sweet Daddy/little dynamic that had slow-ish burn, an inexperienced little and experienced Daddy, and both sexy and fun. I loved the side characters as well. The beginning is with a breakup and despite not even knowing the characters I was crying anyway. I loved the way this couple developed, had history, and the sweet HEA. It all just came together for me. However, I've heard mentions of cheating and other themes I don't enjoy in the second book with a different couple so I might not continue this series.
